Therefore, it is vitally important that PCTs start to be fully engaged in the development of NICE TAGs so that the published guidance reflects the needs of all stakeholders including patients, clinicians, manufacturers, and crucially as the commissioners of health care for their whole populations and as statutory budget holders, the PCTs.
