Findings from Stakeholder Analysis March-June 2012 for the QIPP Right Care Programme

This brief report provides a snapshot taken in March-June 2012 of organisations’ progress in implementing changes affecting the healthcare public health contribution to NHS commissioning and providing in England.

Interviews with local and national stakeholders explored delivery of the mandated core offer of public health advice from upper tier local authorities to clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) via their incoming public health resource as well as the potential arrangements for public health advice from Public Health England (PHE) into the NHS Commissioning Board (NHSCB).

The development of preliminary conclusions and recommendations in this report followed a meeting of the national steering group who met to review the initial findings from the stakeholder work.
